Where are we. We are at the side of the heart of Sardinia, a fascinating land rich of culture and traditions. Cala Gonone is a small seaside village in the middle of the unspoilt and wild Gulf of Orosei which has some of the best beaches of the Mediterranean: Cala Luna, Cala Sisine, Cala Mariolu, fascinating natural bays followed by limestone cliffs which are reflected in the below emerald sea. All around there are grottos modeled by the wind and the sea and where the monk seal used to shelter. Behind Cala Gonone there is the mountainous body called Supramonte where there are many natural attractions such as one of the biggest canyon of Europe (Gorrouppu canyon), the Ispinigoli grotto with one of the tallest stalagmites in the world and nuragic villages which tell mysterious and fascinating stories from the past.
